Canal View is a platform promoted by two upcoming firms located at the business incubator ex Herion in Giudecca, Venice: NuovostudioFactory by Marco Luitprandi and Officine Panottiche by Luca N. Vascon and Chiara Masiero Sgrinzatto. Canal View has been designed and realized in collaboration with the Wetoo Group. This companies work develop multimedial applications, multisensory installations and interactive visual contents.

This joined-venture group is composed by:

NuovostudioFactory (Marco Luitprandi, Mantova 1968) designs and develops multimedia products and networks systems, working for Assindustria Mantova, Provincial Administration of Mantua, Board of the ministry of cultural heritage and Environmental Conservation of Mantua, the Venice Biennale, Canella spa, Ferro Spain spa. Luitprandi is specialized in interaction design; since 2001 he is Professor at the Politecnico of Milan and at the Uniss of Alghero. In 2006 he designed and realized the cd-rom “Ab Olympo la dimora del Mantegna”, nominate for the Prix Möbius International de la Communité Europeenne. Since 2008 he expanded his research in physical interface design.

Officine Panottiche (Chiara Masiero Sgrinzatto, Padova 1982; Luca-Nicolò Vascon, Padova 1974) designs and develops visual contents, joining competences on immersive reality technologies. Officine Panottiche delivers complete solutions, not limited to panoramic photography and special photo techniques, but oriented toward a more complete environment of visual communication. Since 1998 it works on Research&Development in digital interactive images and panoramas establishing partnerships with photo equipment companies (Nikon and Agnos Tech Engeneering) and software houses working on panoramic photo (PTGui, GardenGnome Software, Hugin, DevalVR). Vascon has been teaching at IUAV in Venice and FAMU in Prague; in 2003 he run the first panoramic photography professional workshop in Europe.

Wetoo (Giovanni Rosa and Alvise Rabitti, Venezia 1979) works on web-based systems (websites, web applications, installations, networks) paying attention to the open source systems and to the international validation standards
